Just Cruising
I finally have internet and some time, so I'm back tracking a little. Last year we blew out the tranny, so this year we got to fix it. We ended up staying in the boat yard for awhile putting in a new transmission I found on the internet. And, can you believe this, it actually fit. It was a bitch to get the old one out but with the help of our friend Brad from JoJo we were successful. It seems like we just got back to La Paz but it's actually been almost 3 months. During which we not only replaced the tranny but we also redid the teak decks, put on a solar panel, fixed all the little projects we've been putting off, hung out with all the cruisers we've met over the years, started beach volley ball games, and, varnished the inside of the boat. Hanali has never looked better. So what now? It's time to go sailing.
